Controlled Chaos!  Drag racing for dogs!  These are phrases that have been used to describe the sport of flyball.  Dogs race down over jumps, trigger a spring loaded box to release a ball, and return over the jumps with the ball to their handler along with three other dogs on their team.  Lots of fun training your dog to work with you in the midst of lots of distractions.  Six weeks. Prerequisites: Dogs MUST be dog and human friendly.  A good recall is needed as well. Instructor: Dede Crough, ACDBC

"Be Mine, Canine" Photo Contest

"LIKES" on Facebook and In-Store vote accepted from

Mon., Feb. 16, 2015 through Sat., Feb. 28, 2015.

On Feb., 14, 2015 during our annual "Be Mine, Canine" Celebration, we ran a fundraiser photography event. For a $5 donation to Mostly Muttz Rescue, folks had a photo of their dog or dogs taken with or without themselves. The photos were taken by Angela Stehl of Pooch Smooch Photography. We raised $120 for the rescue.

Nineteen entry photos were posted on Godfrey's Facebook page on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015. They are all in a photo album called "Be Mine, Canine" Valentine. The photo with the most "LIKES" on Facebook combined with in-store votes will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to Pooch Smooch Photography and a $25 Gift Certificate to Godfrey's.

Take a look! Look for the most loving photo-the photo communicating great affection-the photo that makes you go "Aw...this is pure love!

Lunch and Learn Event: "Food as The First Medicine"
