HOW OUR CLASSES ARE DIFFERENT

We designed our "Puppy Start Right" classes, "Obedience" classes and "Therapy Dog Prep" classes to meet the needs of today's active family lifestyle.  Gone are the days of having a rigid schedule for classes.  With our system, you purchases a block of classes, and you can attend a class when it meets your needs.  For the classes to be effective for you and your dog, we ask that you use the classes within 10 weeks.  This way, if you cannot make a Monday class, for example, you can come to class on Wednesday night instead as long as we know in advance. If you have a vacation scheduled, no problem, just join us when you get back.  With this system, you can start and/or end at any time.  You can come twice per week if you and your dog are making great progress. No more waiting for classes to start in 5 weeks!

"Puppy Start Right" Program: For puppies from 7 weeks - 12 weeks old. (4 class program)

"Obedience" Class: For all dogs 13 weeks and older  (6 class program)

"Therapy Dog Prep" Class: For dogs over 1 year old, and in their home for 6 months or more. (4 class program)

Dog Sports Classes: Details vary. Contact us for more info.

Orientation Sessions are scheduled every Saturday from 11am-12noon and are required before starting "Obedience" classes here. The session is free of charge and must be attended before you are ready to start Obedience training classes at Godfrey's.  This class will be informational, explaining clicker training, our process, our curriculum explained, your equipment needed, and the opportunity to enroll.  You should not bring your dog to the class, but you may bring any family members that will be training the dog, in fact we recommend the entire family attend!

Want to attend classes here? Simply send an email to Pat at training@difk9.com.  For Orientation session scheduling, simply let him know the Saturday date you want to attend!

Note: Orientation is not required to start our "Puppy Start Right" classes.

Want private classes here or in your home? Pat offers that as well! Send him an email at training@difk9.com and let him know what you're looking for?

Visit www.difk9.com to find out for the complete schedule and to learn more about our innovative "Puppy Start Right" program. Class sizes are limited at Godfrey's so that everyone gets the time and attention they need.

For dog sports, Dede is ready to get you started in Nose Work and Flyball.  Check it out!

Dede told us that she's looking for 1 more participant for Flyball, then that class will be started

up again!

There's a difference in attitude and lifestyle when "dog" is truly considered family. We don't abandon them in old age...we never abandon them. We want them with us every day and there for all times in our daily lives. We want to do the best we can do for them, each day and in every way.

Let our community around town know how you feel. Spread the word; there's a "DIF"ference when dogs are family. At Godfrey's, we reflect that sentiment and hope you share it with us.

Our stickers sell for $1.99.  $1 from each sale is donated to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the nation's largest sanctuary for abused and neglected animals, where animals can live out their lives in peace and with love.
