"DOG MOMS ARE MOTHERS, TOO" CELEBRATION DAY - May 13, 2006
Human dog moms look after, love, and care for their furry kids with such devotion that we wanted to celebrate this special bond. One of the best ways we could think of to say "Thanks, mom, you're important to me" was to give mom a relaxing, carefree experience. So all our canine customers out there brought mom out to Godfrey's for a complimentary massage for all dog moms (doggie grandmas, too) from 12noon-3p.m. Linda Zielinski, NCTMB, and owner of Pressure Points Massage and BodyWork in Shillington, kindly offered chair massages on a first come, first serve basis. Everyone who had one commented about how relaxed they felt! Thanks so much, Linda! We also presented dog moms and dog grandmoms with a fresh "bow-wow" carnation and, of course, we had complimentary homebaked refreshments from our favorite baker, Gail.
