Help the Four Legged Survivors of Hurricane Katrina

As you all know, animals have been stranded, displaced and are also in need of medical help. It's the largest natural disaster in U.S. history.

If you are struggling for a way to help and have already donated the Red Cross, please consider a donation to any of the following to help animal survivors:

  •  Noah's Wish - Its' single mission is to keep animals alive during disasters.  Noah's Wish recognizes that animals need and deserve an organized, consistent, and professionally managed disaster relief program.

Godfrey's is accepting donations at the shop for this non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.

If you live close by to Godfrey's, contact the Humane Society of Berks County (610-921-2348) to see how you can help.

Have a Disaster Plan for Your Pets

Disasters can strike at any time. Hurricane Katrina reminds us to think out our own personal plans for our families. We encourage you to review the Humane Society of the United States' suggestions for Disaster Preparedness for Pets and create your plan soon.

And give your furry kids an extra special hug each and every day.
