Pet Product News International Chooses Mohnton Business For Its 2006-2007 Merchandising Award
Irvine , Calif. , July 31, 2006 – Pet Product News International , the leading monthly business newsmagazine covering the issues and trends affecting all sectors of the professional pet industry, announced that Godfrey’s Welcome to Dogdom, Mohnton , Penn., won its 2006-2007 Merchandising Award.
Situated in a remodeled barn home on four acres, this destination store features merchandise displayed in appropriate rooms: food and treats in the kitchen, clothing and bed products in the bedroom and spa products in the bathroom. Imaginative marketing ideas and events earned Godfrey’s Welcome to Dogdom the Pet Product News International Merchandising Award.
Proprietor Barbara Emmett was awarded a seat on the Pet Product News International Retail Advisory Board for the next year.
The Retailer of the Year awards, sponsored by GPC Pet Products (a division of Grain Processing Corporation), were created 11 years ago to recognize retail excellence in the pet industry.
Godfrey’s Welcome to Dogdom will be featured in the October 2006 issue of Pet Product News International.
